21st Century Competencies

In the World Work High School Project program, students will engage in practical learning, where they will gain the concepts, tools and skills essential for a global citizen of the present and future. This process will culminate in a real and authentic project.  Plus, it’s 100% online and free.

What truly distinguishes Maple Bear High School is the approach to teaching and learning. Embedded within the curriculum are the 21st century competencies needed to support our students to flourish as citizens of the world (Fullan, M., Quinn, J., & McEachen, J., 2018). These competencies are character, citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.

Over the 5 weeks and 12 meetings, students will learn about entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and create a team startup.
